Twitter is the latest in instant micro-blogging tools that keeps your friends, family, colleagues, strangers or customers updated on your current status.

Following on from our Twitter Glossary Part 1 and Part 2, here’s Part 3 :)

TWEETVOLUME: An online service that informs users of the volume of Tweets containing specific words, like a Keyword Tool.

TWEETWHEEL: A fascinating tool to see how many of your followers are connected to each other.

TWERPSCAN: A tool to show you which users you might want to avoid.

TWICTIONARY: A collection of Twitter terminology.

TWIST: A tool that scans Tweets and graphs the frequency of selected terms or keywords.

TWITETIQUETTE: The established rules for behaviour when using Twitter.

TWITTHIS: A tool for forwarding interesting Tweet on to other Twitterers.

TWITTER4SKYPE: Use Skype to send your Tweets

TWITTERBUCK: The second most famous Twitterer. The Twitter Hero, James Karl Buck. He was arrested in Egypt whilst covering anti-government protest. Whilst in the back of the police car, he managed to Tweet a single word from his mobile phone. His friends, family and colleagues immediately received the message that read ‘ARRESTED’. A huge Internet buzz was created as his Twitter Friends spread the word. Less than 24 hours later, they received a new message ‘FREE’.

TWITTERCLONE: A website or service that attempts to copy Twitter, very popular in China.

TWITTERCOMMANDS: The word commands that control Twitter.

TWITTERDIR: An essential director on all things Twittery.

TWITTERDOODLE: A WordPress add-on that allows you to have customized Tweets sent from Twitter and posted on your blog. You choose the keywords using Summarize.

TWITTERER: A user of Twitter

TWITTERFOX: A Firefox Browser add-on for instant Twitter updates.
