“TweetCube is a 100% free file sharing service for Twitter. You can upload as many images, archives, videos and songs as you want and share them on Twitter with your followers.Who are We
Tweetcube is developed and operated by Anything Cashable, a company that builds cool online applications.

Tweetcube is a work in progress. We are constantly adding new features, functions and increasing the upload limits. So stay tuned for more exciting features.”
We say:
A great idea, but as all it really does is put a link to your file online, we’re not sure how much use it really has. Probably good if you can’t FTP or upload files anywhere else, but when we tested it, it put apostophes around our Tweet which meant that the URL for our image didn’t work.
Needs a bit of tweaking but could become useful. Currently file size is limited to 10Mb and all files are deleted after 30 days.

Another web based way to manage your Twitter following and followers.
Simply login, click ’synch with twitter’ (this takes an age so be prepared) and once Tweeple has your info you’ll be able to see all your followers in alphabetical order. you can unfollow them, see their Tweets, and, “Ding” them.
That’s right, “Ding” them (because Twitter users NEED more weird vocabulary
).
“Dinging” appears to be the term for marking someone as a spammer - as it’s self policing i’m not sure how well it’s going to work, but it’s an interesting concept.

His Tactics are:
* Start conversations with notable peers
* Share valuable industry news
* Build your blog audience
* Stay connected at conferences and trade shows
* Monitor your Twitter reputation
He makes some great points - a lot of it is common sense, but then again isn’t most marketing and branding stuff?
There’s a good real life example of his problems with Office Depot (evidently they need to read his article as they don’t appear to have done any ‘brand rescue’!).

Twellow is billing itself as a kind of Yellow Pages for Twitterers, and tells us that it’s:
“currently grabbing publicly available messages from the Twitter.com micro-blogging service. We then analyze and categorize each of the users responsible for those messages into the various categories found at Twellow.com. By adding these people to specific categories we help you narrow your searching into specific niches where you can find who you are looking for. In addition to Twitter, we’re actively working on adding more social media services to broaden your capacity to find people who matter.”
If you’re not listed already you can use their Get Listed form to submit yourself.
If you want to keep updated on twellow news, there’s a Twellow Blog too.

After I posted this post about getting business from Twitter, in various places, someone said to me that it must take a lot of dedication and discipline to get those results from Twitter.
I spoke to a few other people who said that they thought it would take an awful lot of time to achieve any sort of results on twitter that would be useful for their business.
This is my response:
Hi XX
Honestly, it hasn’t taken up loads of my time.
I’ve installed Tweetdeck - this makes it easy to see Tweets - you could install Twitterfox or Twhirl for similar results.
I understand why people find it hard to see twitter as anything more than ‘fun’ and a ‘waste of time’ - and indeed it can be both of those things (separately and together in fact!).
But Twitter can also be a great business and marketing tool.
In the past 7 days I have:
It shouldn’t be the be all and end all of Twitter, but lots of people are focused on getting as many people to follow them as possible.
Personally I would rather have a few people really interested in what I have to share than thousands who are just following me in the hope I will follow them back.
But people like Kevin Rose and Robert Scoble have thousands of followers seriously interested in what they have to say - what’s not to like about that?
The fabulous doshdosh has a post today on how to get more twitter followers.
Great post from Allan Young with his thoughts on ‘The Twitter Influence Ratio’ or how you can decide whether someone is following based on the number of people they follow and the number of people that follow them.
Here’s an excerpt (accordign to this we have a Twitter Influence Ratio of 1.41 - we’re not sure if that makes us worth following or not!:
