Once again, #followfriday rolls around, and once again I’m hoping to see *reasons* to follow people, not just a random list that gives me no pointers.
Last week I wrote this post entitled #FollowFriday – it’s not just a list, to explain my thoughts on Follow Friday.
For those that haven’t read it and can’t be bothered, a quick recap:
…today, instead of sending out 140 characters consisting of just usernames, have a think, and tell me WHY I should be following someone….
So, here are some of my #followfriday suggestions for today:
- @ecoelf - she’s new to Twitter and dedicated to finding the best green living and eco friendly links, as well as promoting fellow green Tweeters
- @glanyrafon - The Glan is a pub in North Wales, and it’s 450 years old this year! As I persuaded them that Twitter would be good for them, I need to back it up byu helping them get lots of followers!
- @SuButcher - Su is dedicated to making Twitter work for architects, and tweets links to interesting sites and ideas that no-one else seems to pick up on – a great follow!
- @twinterviewing - this is cheating a little as it’s one of mine, but it’s going to be great – we’ll be twinterviewing Twitter users live in the twitter stream at specific times!
- @coscomputing - a helpful techie, he’s always there to help with my technical hassles, and gives some great pointers every day
- @DuaneJackson - Duane owns Kashflow, a fantastic online accounting system for small businesses – we use it and we love it, and it’s always nice to see what new features he’s launching and who he’s meeting with
So there you have it – 6 of my FF recommendations for this week – send me an @message or post yours in the comments below!
And of course, you can follow me on Twitter too!
