I’ve been thinking about it for a while – live Twinterviews with people using Twitter for business, but wasn’t sure how to go about it.
And then it hit me – we’ll do it through a Twitter account – and so Twinterviewing was born.
So how does it work?
Well, once or twice a week, we’ll run a live Twitter interview – by following the Twinterviewer and the Twinterviewee, you’ll be able to follow the thread of the interview, and we’ll be using hashtags so that you can see the whole thing later on. We’ll probably also archive the interviews here on Business on Twitter.
It’s a pretty basic premise, and we’re not even sure how it will work out, but it’s one we’re pretty excited about.
How do I get to be interviewed?
First, follow Twinterviewing on Twitter.
Then send a message to twitter@nikkipilkington.com telling us a little bit about yourself – include your Twitter profile address of course. Let us know how you’re using Twitter, what successes you’ve had, and what you’re using it to promote (if anything).
We’ll be blunt and honest here – you’re more likely to get picked for a Twinterview if you’ve retweeted and asked people to follow us. It’s in our interests to get as many followers as possible, so that as many people as possible can see our Twinterviews.
How do I see the Twinterviews?
It’s simple – just follow Twinterviewing on Twitter – we’ll announce when Twinterviews are going to happen – they’ll be simple question and answers, and you’ll be encouraged to follow the Twinterviewee, so that you can see the Twinterview take place in your Twitter stream.
We’ll also use hashtags so tat you can find the Twinterview easily later, and post details of it here on Business on Twitter.
So, what are you waiting for? Follow Twinterviewing now, retweet our ‘mission statement’: RT @twinterviewing: Twinterviewing the people who are making the most of Twitter for Business, and let us know if you want to be Twinterviewed!
