We launched Tweetmentor earlier this year in order to help small (and large as it happens!) businesses to make the most of Twitter, gain leads from it and ultimately make money.
You can read about how I chose to market Tweetmentor to see that we didn’t do things the ‘expected’ way.
It’s always nice to read Tweets from people enjoying Tweetmentor, and to see people recommending it to others, but even nicer are the emails I get at times.
I asked some of the first intake of Tweetmentor signups to let me know what benefits they got from Tweetmentor, and have posted some of the responses in this post.
Tweetmentor has been fantastic for me in many ways:
- It has shown me ways to improve my profile, my Tweets and who I follow / followers.
- it has shown me what I should /should not be doing on Twitter
- it has helped me develop a Twitter routine
- it has shown me add-ons and sites that maybe I would never have discovered.
- it has shown me how to use RT/FF/# etc
- it has helped me with my blog
- it has helped me …. and so much more!
I cannot speak highly enough or thank you enough for all you have done/do!
The tweetmentor emails continually give me new ideas of how to use twitter and the applications available. My preconceptions are challenged and it makes me think about how best to use twitter for my business. My followers have increased dramatically and I expect to gain business in the future directly from twitter by using Nikki’s tips.
For many small businesses Twitter has 3 possible outcomes
1.You give up on it almost immediately as only for geeks and kids2.You waste hours on it in a totally unstructured way, deluding yourself that you are being productive
3. You successfully manage the various applications in a timely fashion and build a real network of useful contacts and resources
Tweetmentor has ensured the 3rd outcome. It has built up into a reference source that I am able to return to regularly. It has added a discipline to the process of tweeting and has allowed me to build up a meaningful network of people that I wouldn’t have thought possible, at virtually zero cost. It has also allowed me to gain additional tips and advice at a fraction of the open market costs from telephone marketing to Press releases
So, if you’re floundering on Twitter, and not sure whether you’re making the most of your time, why not consider spending a few quid and learning from a Tweetmentor
As a complete newbie to Twitter I did not understand what it was all about and how it could help promote Virtual Sales Limited. The TweetMentor course has been invaluable in explaining what to do in very simple terms how to get started and to get the most from Twitter. I have found Nikki’s course to be an invaluable source of information and recommendations that would otherwise be difficult to grasp. I have and will continue to recommend her course to anyone looking to use Twitter to promote their business.
