Be our guest – we’re looking for guest bloggers!

The guest posts that we publish here on Business on Twitter are among our most visited, and it’s clear that our visitors love to find out more about how YOU use twitter, how YOU make it work for you and the apps and gadgets that YOU find work best.

So we’re looking for guest posters who have thoughts about twitter and would like to see them on this blog.

The guest blogs can be about anything to do with Twitter, and of course can promote your own Twitter account, your website and your courses / books / products / services – as long as they’re educational, informative and useful to our community.

We WON’T accept blatant press releases or self publicity – the posts do have to have some use to our readers, or they’ll stop coming back.

So, if you have an idea for a guest post and you’d like to feature on this site, let us know by emailing nikki@nikkipilkington.com – either Nikki or Leigh will be in touch ASAP!

  1. Hi, looking for a means of advertising my children’s books, I turned to Twitter. Slowly learned how to use it, still making mistakes, but discovered so many lovely people, all anxious to be helpful to a struggler and as well as a little fame, found that Twittter is an excellent way of making friends, many in my own area of Shropshire. So thank you, Twitter.

  2. I’ll have a ponder – a good topic doesn’t leap to mind, but thats seldom the way. I’m certainly up for writing the occasional guest blog for other sites though! :)

As a result of reading a Tweet in November, I was interviewed via Skype on http://www.warbirdradio.com about how we worked with The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight to scan over 30,000 warbird drawings and make them available on http://www.spitfirerestoration.com.

We have had a number of orders since that broadcast.

  6. Hi Nikki,

I’m joining the guest blogging queue. I’m a freelance writer who also runs a business blog and I think social networking has massive potential. I’ve made useful contacts and found writing work through Twitter. I’d be happy to share my experience and my thoughts on ‘this is how it works for me’.

I would love to write you a guest post on Twitter and relationship / reputation management within a business – it’s a favourite topic of mine.

Is this the sort of thing you’d be interested in? If so, I’ll email you.

    Thanks,
    Carly
