Free Twitter Checklist!

I don’t often use this blog to promote my own ‘stuff’ so I hope you’ll all forgive me this one time!

I’ve put together a Twitter Checklist of 40 things I think you should be looking at if you’re serious about promoting your business on Twitter.

I’m giving it to you for free – however there is a bit of a catch. To get it free you have to read about a new service I’m promoting – TweetMentor.

You can find out more and get your free Twitter for business checklist here

Who says Twitter isn’t for Business and Marketing?

I understand why people find it hard to see twitter as anything more than ‘fun’ and a ‘waste of time’ – and indeed it can be both of those things (separately and together in fact!).

But Twitter can also be a great business and marketing tool.

Looking for Venture Capitalists? Try Twitter!

Gaebler Ventures today points out that there are a few venture capitalists using Twitter to find new ventures.

The list he features only includes US VC’s – but how long will it be before UK VC’s are seeing the value and jumping on the Twitter bandwagon?

For them Twitter is ideal as it allows them to look through micro-proposals and see which ones they want to look at more indepth. For businesses loking for capital it is ideal as you need to really focus your business message to get it across in 140 characters!
