I say:
Rebuilding should probably have been done a while ago, but at least now they’ve realised their problems and are working to fix them.

With a rapidly growing userbase, Twitter has had it’s share of stability problems, and some users are gettign annoyed by the Twitter ‘fail whale’ (the logo that is shown when twitter is having problems).
Not sure f the problems are at your end or twitter’s?
Is Twitter Down offers a simple solution - simply access their site and they’ll tell you in one word whether it is or not.
Geeky? Yes, but funny. What’s REALLY geeky is if you buy the t-shirt they’re selling (which I haven’t bought, oh no…)
